De Leeghte is a carp fishery located in Lievelde.
Lake 1 Rules ▼
1. Fishing with braided line is prohibited, main line maximum 0.25/100.
2. Fishing with one rod only (the pole, feeder, picker or match rod).
3. For fishing with the pole, elastic is mandatory including pulabung.
3a Recreational players are obliged to fish elasticated.
4. For competitions, 2 keepnets per participant are required at the start of the competition.
5. Maximum large hook size 10.
6. Maximum weight per keepnet approximately 25 kg. (7 fish)
7. Only “De Leeghte” keepnets allowed (no own keepnets allowed!).
8. Only landing nets from “De Leeghte” are allowed (no own landing nets allowed!). Bring your own landing net handle!
9. Float must be able to carry the lead.
10. Maximum pole length 11.5 meters, maximum cord length 4 meters.
11. Hand feeding or slingshot feeding is not allowed.
12. Red maggots banned.
13 a. It is forbidden to fish and feed with fresh and vase, Ham/Meat, Butter Acid.
13 b. It is forbidden to feed with maggots.
14. Catapult at your own risk.
15. All fish count.
16. Cupping with 2nd rod is not allowed.
17. Sideways fishing is allowed provided that one does not hinder or bother the neighbor.
18. Maximum leader thickness 0.22/100.
19. Rod and Line length for picker / feeder, match is up to 18 meters.
20. You should fish with barbless hooks. Flattening the barb is not accepted.
21. Respect your fellow fishermen and their swims and the fishes.
22. The swim must be left clean.
23. Young people under 18 years only accompanied by an adult with some fishing experience.
23A Children under the age of 14 are only allowed to fish under the supervision of 1 on 1 adult.
24 It is not allowed to bring fish (Catch & Releas).
25 It is prohibited to have or use your own keepnet and landing net or unhooking mat on the waterfront.
26. The Administrator or competition committee can refuse a participant(s) without giving any reason.
27 It is forbidden to use bite alarms.
28 For the smokers among us, your butt doesn't belong in the water but in the trash can.
